Extra ORBT buses will be waiting to whisk away Memorial Park concert goers after show & fireworks end

Metro will have extra ORBT buses waiting to whisk away concert goers after Friday’s Memorial Park concert and fireworks show.

Several buses will be waiting just down the street from Memorial Park at 62nd & Dodge and will head out as soon as Dodge opens back up.

This means people can park for free at the Westroads Transit Center or find parking anywhere else along Dodge before the concert, hop on an ORBT, and enjoy the concert without trying to fight traffic or circling in search of parking.

ORBT is only $1.25 to board (free for kids K-12th grade), and a ride from Westroads to Memorial Park is less than 20 minutes.

After the fireworks end, concertgoers can head to the big orange buses standing by, riders can sit tight and our operators will get them back to Westroads, downtown, or anywhere in between in just a few minutes.

Riders can feel free to bring their concert gear with them too!

Details:

  • Friday, June 27th, Metro will park extra ORBT buses at 62nd & Dodge on both sides of the street
