The inaugural Heartland Plein Air Art Festival is coming to the Omaha metro September 13–19, 2026! Presented by the Ralston HINGE Creative District in collaboration with Dundee, Benson, and Castle and Cathedral Creative Districts, the weeklong festival will bring 48 artists from across the country to paint locations throughout Douglas and Sarpy Counties. Enjoy daily paintouts, artist lectures, youth programming, live painting, and more before the festival culminates in a public exhibition and auction of original works.
