Kicking off May 20th, participating Dundee Merchants are bringing a fresh wave of color and creativity to Underwood Avenue. As you stroll through the neighborhood, you’ll start to notice something blooming at our local merchants’ storefronts - welcoming the season with vibrant displays and thoughtful touches.

Businesses will feature a mix of real and artificial floral installations decorating their exterior spaces, with many also offering botanical-themed products and experiences inside through September.

On the third Saturday evening of each month, from 6–8pm, enjoy the sounds of local talent as we welcome a different Omaha-area musician to perform right in the heart of the neighborhood. Whether you're out for a casual stroll or heading to dinner, take a moment to pause, listen, and soak in the vibrant community energy that makes Dundee so special.

This series is all about celebrating local artists and creating spontaneous, joyful experiences for neighbors and visitors alike. So mark your calendar, bring a friend, and discover new sounds each month as you explore everything Dundee has to offer.

Join Albany and Avers for Fresh Press: Stamp & Style Workshop with local artist, Courtney Mattern of Courtney Going Places.

This is a creative, hands-on experience taking place on Thursday, May 7th, from 6–8pm, inviting participants to explore the art of stamp-making and textile design in a welcoming, community-centered setting.

All supplies are included with your registration, but we ask that you bring one item (clothing or a tote) that you want to up-cycle during this workshop.

Through the process of designing and carving custom stamps, attendees will create reusable tools that can be applied again and again, encouraging a slower, more intentional approach to fashion and consumption. 

Learn a new skill and leave with a custom-printed piece that is uniquely yours! Registration is required.

This month’s wine class, focused on the Balkan regions of Slovenia, Bulgaria, Croatia, and North Macedonia is a fascinating deep dive into one of Europe’s most underrated and historically rich wine areas. Expect a mix of indigenous grape varieties, diverse terroirs, and a strong cultural story shaped by Mediterranean, Alpine, and Central European influences.

Join Albany and Avers for a Matchbook Art Workshop on Wednesday, January 28 from 6–8 PM, a hands-on craft night celebrating vintage design, creativity, and personal storytelling. This unique art workshop invites participants to create a custom vintage matchbook shadow box or keepsake using curated materials in a relaxed, welcoming setting.

All supplies are provided, including a selection of vintage matchbooks, shadow boxes, adhesives, and tools needed to bring your piece to life. You’re also encouraged to bring small personal items, such as paper ephemera, photos, or memorabilia, to incorporate into your artwork and make it uniquely yours. No prior art experience is required.

This workshop is perfect for anyone looking for a fun night out, a mindful creative experience, or a chance to explore collage and assemblage art.
